East African Playgrounds

East African Playgrounds enhances the lives of children across Uganda by developing children’s learning opportunities, creativity and environments through building playgrounds and running play advocacy training within communities. In doing this they provide high quality training and employment through their playground building workshops.

A team from our home town in Bournemouth (including Tribe member Cara) are going to Uganda to help with this charity's work and bring play to the children of East Africa.

They are going to EXPLORE the culture and landscape of the beautiful country.

DISCOVER the path to the last remaining wild silverback gorillas and walk alongside them seeing these critically endangered animals in the flesh.

And most importantly DEVELOP a community by transforming an empty playing field into a safe and exciting playground for children to enjoy for many years to come whilst teaching them to make the most out of creativity in education and life.
