Ages Apparel was founded by brothers George (right) & Ross (left) Okoye.
We have a combination of British, Irish & West African origins. Ages Apparel started in 2015 as part of an exploratory journey into those African roots.
We began selling just one African inspired rhino t-shirt design, from there we have expanded our range to include many more t-shirts, hats, jumpers, artwork, accessories and authentic African goods direct from Ghana!
We now also attend festivals & events, sell online, are stocked in shops and support a number of good causes with every sale!
With Ages Apparel you will always get high quality, ethical products with original design & top customer service direct from us!
African Wildlife Is In Danger
Africa has some of the most iconic and beautiful wildlife in the world; including zebra, giraffe, gorillas, elephants, rhinos and lions to name just a few.
Unfortunately, so many of these wonderful animals are threatened, some even critically endangered. A loss of habitat, poaching and living alongside humans are just some of the problems these animals face on a daily basis. Without assistance, many of these iconic species will die out and our children will not know what it is to live alongside them.
How We Can Help!
We are committed to protecting the animals and cultures that much of our inspiration is taken from so…
We donate to Imire Rhino & Wildlife Conservation for every item of street wear you buy!
Imire is a wildlife reserve in Zimbabwe that cares for many of Africa’s iconic species whilst also breeding black and white rhinos, fighting poaching and empowering the local community to get involved in wildlife conservation.

Our Made In Ghana range is from independent street traders and Aboom Special Needs School on the Cape Coast.
We trade directly with a street trader in Ghana, offering fair trade for his authentic handmade African bags. Purchasing products from Aboom Special Needs School helps fund the education of their students and goes towards paying for the upkeep of the school.
We’ve got a selection of beautiful colourful bags available online plus a lot more when you come and see us on tour!
We are always looking for ways to minimise our carbon footprint and be environmentally friendly where possible.
We have a growing range of 100% organic products which are manufactured using renewable energy! Our aim is for all new products to be as ethical as possible so you know you're getting the best ethical standards when shopping with us.
Organic cotton is farmed without pesticides, using natural methods. This means that it is better for the health of the farmers and their communities, and also better for the environment!
We also use certified Eco-Friendly, Soil Association Approved inks on most of our products.
Traditional chemical based inks include PVCs and phthalates that are harmful to the environment and have been linked with numerous medical conditions. Our inks are not only free from these harmful chemicals, they don’t need solvents to clean in the production process and print with a finish that’s soft to the touch and as durable as the chemical based alternative.
We love the quality of the finish and we’re confident you will to!
Sending and receiving products and materials through international shipping produces emissions which have a negative impact on the environment, so we had some help from Gaia to help reduce our carbon footprint.
As a result of this
WE HAVE planted over 1900 TREES OFFSETTING OVER 615KG OF CO2 PER YEAR!
As well as all this we recycle where possible, re-use old boxes for postage and use packaging you can re-use in future too such as re-sealable bags and recycled paper carriers for events.
We are always looking to find ways of reducing our carbon footprint, so if you have any concerns or have any solutions on how we can do this better please get in touch.
We believe everyone has a right to safe, fair working conditions.
That's why we are proud to support WRAP & sell products made by Continental Clothing who are members of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF).
FWF’s mission is to improve the conditions for the hundreds of thousands of workers involved making clothes for FWF companies.

All WRAP items are made in conditions where employment is freely chosen, people are paid a living wage and work reasonable hours in a safe working environment.
Factories need to abide by certain principles including ethical waste disposal and reduce their impact to the environment to get WRAP certification.
